We are completely results driven in all our treatments while still giving you a spa-like feel. Our main focus is getting your skin to a healthy state, so that you not only look your best, but your skin feels good and responds to all your products and treatments even better. Lori Voci-Sohm

Lori is a medically trained esthetician and the founder of Avi Aesthetics, a boutique medical spa in Charlotte, North Carolina. With nearly 17 years of experience in medical aesthetics and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing, she brings a refined balance of clinical expertise and elevated care to every treatment.

As a Charlotte native, Lori specializes in advanced skin care and anti-aging treatments designed to deliver natural, confidence-boosting results. Her approach focuses on enhancing skin health while preserving each client’s unique features—never overdone, always intentional.

Lori is passionate about helping women feel refreshed, youthful, and empowered at every stage of life. Her philosophy centers on graceful aging, personalized treatment plans, and results that look as good as they feel.


Outside the treatment room, Lori is a wife, a mom to two young children, and a devoted dog mom. When she’s not at the spa, you’ll likely find her spending time with family or attending live music events—her favorite source of creative inspiration and balance.

  • Shannon | Medical Esthetician

    Shannon is a licensed medical esthetician at Avi Aesthetics with over 10 years of experience in professional skincare and medical aesthetics. Originally from Southern California, her early exposure to sun and skin health sparked a passion for helping clients repair, protect, and rejuvenate their skin through expert care.

    She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice and brings a strong background in client service and communication to her work in aesthetics. Shannon specializes in skin rejuvenation, corrective skincare, and customized facial treatments, focusing on improving skin health while delivering natural, confidence-boosting results.

    Shannon believes that consistency, education, and personalized treatment plans are key to achieving long-term skin goals. She is known for her calm, supportive approach and dedication to helping clients feel comfortable, informed, and confident throughout their skincare journey.

    Outside of the spa, Shannon enjoys reading, Orangetheory Fitness, and traveling—interests that help her stay balanced, energized, and inspired both personally and professionally.

  • Emma | Client Coordinator & Social Media Specialist

    Emma is the Client Coordinator and Social Media Specialist at Avi Aesthetics, where she plays a key role in creating a seamless, welcoming experience both in the spa and online. Originally from Colorado, she now calls Charlotte, North Carolina home and brings a fresh, vibrant energy to the Avi Aesthetics team.

    As the first point of contact for many clients, Emma is passionate about customer care, organization, and ensuring every visit feels effortless and elevated. She also manages Avi Aesthetics’ social media presence, combining creativity with brand consistency to showcase treatments, education, and the luxury med spa experience.

    Emma has found her passion in the medical spa and aesthetics industry, where she continues to grow her expertise in client relations, digital marketing, and aesthetic branding. Her enthusiasm, attention to detail, and love for connection make her an essential part of the Avi Aesthetics experience.
